Change of Subsidiary’s Trade Name

At an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders held today, Takasho Co., Ltd. (president: Meiichiro Matsuura), a subsidiary of JX Nippon Mining & Metals Corporation (president: Shigeru Oi), passed a resolution to change its trade name to JX Nippon Takasho Co., Ltd. with effect from January 1, 2016. In conjunction with the change in the Japanese trade name of JX Nippon Mining & Metals with effect from January 1, 2016, Takasho aims to further expand its business activities by adding “JX Nippon” to its trade name to clearly identify the company as a member of the JX Nippon Mining & Metals Group.

Shirakawa Plant: Yabuki, Nishishirakawa District, Fukushima Prefecture
(5) Capital: 30 million yen (wholly owned by JX Nippon Mining & Metals)
(6) Main operations: Collection, crushing, and separation of scrap printed circuit boards, and collection and separation of industrial waste materials
