Donation to Areas in Northern Chile Hit by Torrential Rains

Responding to the damages caused by torrential rains that hit northern Chile at the end of March, JX Nippon Mining & Metals Corporation (president: Shigeru Oi) presented the Atacama Regional Government with US$ 500,000 in household goods and other emergency supplies on April 29 (local time). The supplies will go toward the relief of disaster victims and recovery of the affected areas.

We take this opportunity to express our heartfelt sympathies to all those affected by this disaster and pray for the speedy recovery and reconstruction of the afflicted areas.
