C5240(HP) Phosphor bronze designed for springs with high mechanical strength

Data

We have improved conventional phosphor bronze (C5240) to develop hi-performance phosphor bonze (C5240-HP). The C5240 alloy is a phosphor bronze with 10% tin-containing, and has better mechanical strength and bend formability that the C5210 alloy, a phosphor bonze with 8%-tin-containing. Our technologies to enhance characteristics of alloys have created C5240-HP with improved bend formability. Mechanical strength of C5240-HP can satisfy demands of such electronic components as miniaturized switches, connectors and relays
We offer Hi-performance series, which consist of highly functional materials with dramatically improved characteristics elaborated through precision product process, without changing chemical compositions.
