As connectors are becoming smaller, copper alloys with higher conductivity are needed to keep connectors from becoming hot as current flows through them. To meet such needs, we developed the high conductivity Corson alloy NKC164E. Along with outstanding conductivity, it features excellent spring strength, bend formability, and thermal resistance. Among various types of connectors, for use in automobiles, home appliances, and information equipment, this product is especially suited for connectors with large current flows and those needing superior heat dissipation.
The NKC164E alloy is compliant with Japanese Automobile Standard (JASO) D620 JC300.

Features

  1. Conductivity of 55%IACS plus 600 MPa-level strength
  2. Outstanding bend formability enabling 180 degrees bending and box bending
  3. Excellent stress relaxation resistance even at high temperatures
