NKC286S is a Corson alloy maintaining the same high strength and conductivity of Corson alloy NKC286 but with improved bend formability in Good Way. It accommodates more difficult bending at a smaller bend radius than the NKC286 alloy.
The Young's modulus of NKC286S, at 110 GPa, is lower than that of conventional Corson alloys (123–131 GPa), making it ideal for connector designs requiring low elasiticity.
Compliant with JC400 of JASO (Japanese Automobile Standards Organization), it is the optimal alloy for automotive applications requiring superior strength and bend formability.
Reflow tin plating material is also available.
