NKC4419(UNS Alloy No. C64800) Designed for Springs with High Mechanical Strength and High Electrical Conductivity

Data

In recent years, demand has arisen for copper alloy materials that combine higher electrical conductivity and excellent spring properties to limit rises in temperature during current flow that result from smaller connector sizes and increased current values. To meet this demand we have developed the highly electrical conductive Corson alloy NKC4419 with outstanding electrical conductivity spring properties, and good formability and heat resistance. Applicable to connectors in motor vehicles, consumer electronics, and information devices, this material is especially well suited for use in connectors with large current flow.

Features

  1. Higher electrical conductivity than conventional Corson alloys: 65%IACS
  2. High mechanical strength: 0.2% offset yield strength 650MPa
  3. Good bend formability: MBR/t = Minimum Bend Radius/Thickness = H:0.7, 1/4H:0.0, Bad way
  4. High stress relaxation resistance: Stress relaxation rate 23%, @150℃, 1000hr
