Overview

NKC286S is a Corson alloy that maintains the high strength and high electrical conductivity of NKC286 while further improving bend formability. This enhancement compared with NKC286 alloy makes NKC286S better suited to difficult bending work at small bend radius.
Another advantage of NKC286S is its lower modulus of elasticity (110 GPa) than conventional Corson alloys (123-131 GPa), making it the right choice for connector design demanding low modulus of longitudinal elasticity.
Conformant with JASO (Japanese Automobile Standards Organization) standard JC400, it is ideal for in-vehicle applications demanding particularly high strength along with excellent bend formability.
It is also available with reflow tin plating.
