We develop and manufacture many different kinds of metal and compound powders, using a variety of raw materials including the Group's own metal resources. These powders are used for diverse applications, from interconnects on advanced LSIs to additive manufacturing and products made using powder metallurgy.
Tantalum and Niobium Materials
These materials are used in capacitor anodes, advanced semiconductor interconnect materials, optical lenses, and surface acoustic wave (SAW) filters.
High Purity Chlorides
In addition to CVD and ALD semiconductor front-end processes, these are used in catalysts, chemical synthesis, coatings, and as additives in multi-layer ceramic capacitors (MLCC).
Metal Powders for Additive Manufacturing
JX Nippon Mining & Metals Group companies are developing and manufacturing distinctive metal powders of various kinds for additive manufacturing.
High Temperature Sintering Sub-micron Copper Powder
Applying our proprietary surface treatment, we are developing fine copper powder with sintering delay function, for use in interconnect and electrode formation in high-temperature environments.
Other Metal Powders
We provide electrolytic copper powder, compound powder, and copper coated iron powder for use in oilless-bearings, electric brushes, friction material, and other applications.
