Announcement of Organizational Changes

JX Nippon Mining & Metals Corporation (President: Murayama Seiichi; "the Company") announces the organizational changes outlined below, effective April 1, 2022, aimed at strengthening and enhancing its framework for executing large-scale construction projects.

 

(1)Establishment of new Project Management Office, and Establishment of Planning & Administration Group and Engineering Group within the Project Management Office

 

In order to effectively execute several large-scale construction projects simultaneously, including the construction of a new factory in Hitachinaka, Ibaraki Prefecture,* a new organizational unit reporting directly to the President has been established to supervise the management of these key projects. The office will also examine optimal integrated management of production bases in Ibaraki Prefecture including the new factory in Hitachinaka.

 

(2) Disestablishment of the Project Management Office in the Planning & Coordination Dept.

 

The Project Management Office in the Planning & Coordination Dept. will be disestablished, and its functions will be transferred to the new Project Management Office, which is mentioned above.
