Announcement of Organizational Changes
JX Nippon Mining & Metals Corporation (President: Hayashi Yoichi; "the Company") announces the organizational change. A new organization "Process and Production Engineering Office" will be established in the Advanced Technology & Strategy Dept. of the Technology Group, effective June 28, 2023.
The mission of "Process and Production Engineering Office" is to optimize production processes for the entire JX Nippon Mining & Metals Group, and to improve cash flows with deploying and utilizing production technologies developed by individual departments across the Company.
By making the new organization a hub for communication among a wide range of departments responsible for R&D, manufacturing, quality assurance, and corporate management, the Company aims to plan, implement, and swiftly improve production measures across multiple business departments.
Digital transformation of manufacturing will also be promoted across the Group with technologies for data analysis, simulation, etc.
