JX Metals Corporation (President: Hayashi Yoichi; "JX Metals") will establish a new Internal Control Dept. on April 1, 2024. This new department, whose establishment forms part of preparations for the listing of JX Metals shares, is intended to strengthen internal control within the company itself, as well as across the JX Metals Group. Currently, relevant units are responsible for their own internal control-related work processes, but concentrating all such work in the new Internal Control Dept. will enable this department to take the lead in comprehensive planning and administration of measures relating to all aspects of internal control at JX Metals and the JX Metals Group.
